How to debug and modify approval maps | Acumatica Developer Conference 2023

The Acumatica Developer Conference is an annual conference that provides Acumatica technical community with the in-depth knowledge & tools required to build significant customisations, integrations, and even applications, fully utilizing Acumatica’s cloud xRP platform. It was a 3-day event from June 27 to June 29, 2023. 

Our CTO and co-founder, Yuriy Zaletskyy, participated in this event. He was talking about how to debug and modify approval maps.

In the presentation, Yuriy covered three main challenges with approval maps: 

• a lot of running parts;
• slight modifications between versions;
• not obvious debugging options. 

Main takeaways from Yuriy’s speech: 

1. Don’t be afraid to debug Acumatica source code;
2. Changes between versions can be a hiccup, but again, debug the source code;
3. Pay attention to details.
